This self-paced basketry course will teach you the skills and techniques to complete a Hanging Vase Basket. Using video, visual, and written instructions, Brittany will walk you through using rattan reed and basketry tools to make a handwoven basket. This course will cover how to weave one style of vase basket and discuss the process of weaving many different vase shapes. Learn the importance of tension and ease in your basket weaving and apply techniques to achieve various basket shape outcomes. The vase basket holds dried flowers and, with a liner, can contain a traditional flower arrangement. Flowers delivered to a friend in this basket would be a special gift!

Dimensions: 3-inch wide base x 8-12 inches tall. It can vary in width depending on the shape woven.
